'Alpha' is an introduction to basic Christian faith which many people in many different countries have found to be helpful and in many cases life changing as they have met God in reality.
An 'Alpha' course consists of a dozen or so talks in a relaxed atmosphere, often after sharing a light meal together, with opportunity for small group discussion where any point of view may be expressed.
We have run a couple of these courses in Trinity and Aghada and the intention of the sermon series was to let all our members have access to the basic teachings, which are indeed another presentation of the good news of Jesus Christ.
